+Skye Witherspoon found some pretty cool stuff on Google Earth. It's the remains of the third major land art project that I worked on with my father. This one was really cool. It was a three dimensional installation made with poles of varying heights. Between some of these poles, thin wires were strung and would sing in the wind.
Years ago, the poles started to fall down. The owner of the land then came by and each of these posts were cut down at ground level (now used fence posts), removing all traces of the design. Since then, water and blowing dust have exposed the design once again. File this as another cool thing that you can find on +Google Earth. In the photo below, you can see that there is a strange discoloration of the earth in center of the dry lake.
Zooming in further to this location shows the remains of the design which is resemblant of a sand dollar. Check it out on Google Earth (42.601442,-118.44053).
So, when I was a kid, I had the chance to do some pretty cool stuff that I think helped to inspire me as a traveler. For example, when I was 12, I camped out in the Oregon desert for a couple of weeks while helping my dad and some of his friends build a 1/4 mile design on the floor of a dry lakebed. It was really hard work because we didn't user any machines or special surveying equipment. We spent our serving as human power for the plow (used to make the lines) and lining up flags so that they'd be straight lines. It's a terrible photo, but I'm second from the left.
In the end, though, I'm pretty sure the effort was well worth the time invested. Viewed from the ground, you can see that this was no small feat - we had to draw some pretty big lines!
From the air, you can see the design fully. It's a Sri Yantra which originated in India and is very beautiful. It was really accurate too because small errors are smoothed out as a result of the large scale involved, possibly making it the most precise version ever to exist.
We kept the project anonymous and left no traces of us having been there. About 40 days, the Air Force based in Boise, Idaho discovered the design and it became a big mystery - folks on CNN thought it was aliens or special military antennas. The chatter died down pretty quickly though as my father and the rest of the team took credit. That said, there are still folks out there that think it was a big cover up job. One of my favorite quotes is, "why would well dressed men from another state come here and do something like this." As if the way you dress implies something about your sense of adventure...
I know differently. While the design is no longer there it serves as a reminder to me that getting out and doing far out stuff can be a lot of fun and really rewarding as well.

Step 2) In the Database folder you will see Chat files which are with names similar like msgstore-2014-01-04.1.db.crypt. You may notices the file names have dates as well. but there is a File which is msgstore.db.crypt, we need to rename it. you can add any word before msgstore.db.crypt.
Step 3) After renaming that file, From the other Files just select the file which shows appropriate date before you accidently deleted your whatsapp messages, and then rename that file tomsgstore.db.crypt. This Renaming process can also be done on your PC by Connecting your device.
Step 4) Now the Final step, Goto Setting>Applications>manage applications>Whatsapp and Click on Clear Data. Now open Whatsapp, Choose Restore when it prompts. Thats it, the chat file saved as msgstore.db.crypt will be restored and hence your messages too.
Click on Restore instead of No Thanks
If you have deleted any media file from your chat, its not deleted forever untill you delete it. To view that image or Video goo to sdcard/WhatsApp/Media Where you will find folders with names Whatsapp Audio, Whatsapp images, Whatsapp video, open folder and lookup for your file.
An Acharya and his disciples were visiting the Ganges River, where they found a group of family members on the banks shouting in anger at each other. Turning to his disciples, the aharya smiled and asked, 'why do people in anger shout at each other?’
His disciples thought for a while. One of them finally said, ‘Because when we lose our calm, we shout.’
'But, why should you shout when the other person is just next to you?' countered the aharya. 'You can just as well tell him what you have to say in a soft manner.' His disciples thought about it some more, but could not come up with a satisfactory answer. Finally, the aharya explained,
'When two people are angry at each other, their hearts distance a lot. To cover that distance they must shout to be able to hear each other. The angrier they are, the stronger they will have to shout to hear each other, in order to cover that great distance.
Nevertheless, what happens when two people fall in love? They do not shout at each other but instead talk very softly because their hearts are very close. The distance between them is either nonexistent or very small. In addition, when they love each other even more, what happens? They do not speak; only whisper and they get even closer to each other in their love. Finally they even need not whisper, they only need to look at each other and that’s all. That is how close two people are when they love each other.
So when you argue, do not let your hearts get distant, do not say words that distance each other more, or else there will come a day when the distance is so great that you will not find the path to return.’
